Position Overview
We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and Next.js. The ideal candidate will architect and develop robust backend systems, manage integrations, and ensure top-notch performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
- Build server-side logic and integrations using Node.js, Express.js, or Nest.js.
- Manage databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB with a focus on performance optimization.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization (e.g., JWT, OAuth) following best practices.
- Work with Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deployment and scaling.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient release management.
- Collaborate closely with front-end, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
- Perform code reviews, optimize server performance, and troubleshoot production issues.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, or Nest.js.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Proven experience with API design, database architecture, and system performance tuning.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, Docker, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and mentoring abilities.
